Barbel Distribution Survey

My name is Andrew Pledger, a PhD student studying at Loughborough university. My research investigates the effects of foraging fish (specifically Barbel) on the stability and quality of river bed sediments. As part of my research, I am looking to create a series of maps which outline the spatial distribution of Barbel and other freshwater fish species within UK river systems. To this end, I was hoping you might be able to help me by answering a few questions on the rivers you fish! These are outlined below.

Feel free to provide as much or as little information as you can. Also, if you feel your local angling club, friends relatives etc. might be interested and able to help then please feel free to forward this email. Your help and assistance is greatly appreciated.
