Over 300 attended the 20th Anniversary Barbel Society Show last Sunday, and it was a real success, with talks by Des Taylor, Dave Harrell, John Baker, Rob Swindells and Steve Pope very well received. A busy trade room was full of anglers buying bait and tackle for the new season and simply chatting to each other!
Des Taylor, in his weekly Angling Times column said “It had good talkers, top tackle on display, and with over 300 barbel anglers milling about that`s as good as it gets! I was glad to be part of this great day in the history of the Barbel Society, long may it continue!”
Next year`s show is at the same venue, Chesford Grange Hotel, Kenilworth.
